Beth Daviess Senior DVERT Researcher
Ms. Beth Daviess is a research analyst at CNA’s Institute for Public Research with a background in law, national security, and digital policy. She focuses on domestic violent extremism, online extremist narratives, and radicalization pathways. Her work has produced policy insights and research reports for government, academic, technology, and community stakeholders. Ms. Daviess previously led projects on online platform governance and regulatory frameworks, and she has advised technology companies on how to assess threats and moderate extremist content. She holds a juris doctor from the University of Chicago Law School and a master’s degree in nonproliferation and terrorism studies from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
